Pediatrics
Northwest Medical Center is committed to providing
the highest-quality healthcare to children through
a full spectrum of medical and surgical services.
Our compassionate staff is trained to do everything
possible to make children and parents feel welcome,
comfortable and secure. Our pediatric emergency
department is open 24 hours a day. Our skilled
physicians, nurses, therapists and other healthcare
professionals provide the most innovative treatment
in a facility that is both technologically advanced
and child friendly.
Oncology Services
We promote the importance of cancer education,
screening and early detection because the earlier
the diagnosis is made, the better the chance of
a cure. Our highly skilled team offers a full range
of diagnostic, treatment and support services,
as well as the highest standard of care. We utilize
the most-advanced techniques to identify the nature
and extent of the specific disease, such as digital
mammography, bronchoscopy, computerized
tomography (CT), endoscopy, fluoroscopy,
ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
and positron emission tomography (PET). In addition
to the newest minimally invasive procedures and
access to innovative research-based approaches,
we offer the benefits of all major treatment
methods, including surgery and medical oncology.
Our interdisciplinary approach includes monthly
tumor-board meetings and tumor registry.
