Since 1966, Plantation General Hospital has been

organizations in America. Only 18% of the nation’s
hospitals received this honor. We are equally proud

In 2013 we will continue to update the facility
décor. We remodeled many of our patient rooms
and waiting room areas. We will be investing
resources in new technology that will enhance our

Within minutes of Florida’s Turnpike, I-595 and I-95,
Plantation General Hospital offers emergency rooms
designated for children, pregnant women and adults.
Our emergency triage program ensures that we
quickly determine the level of care needed, order
medications and begin lifesaving interventions.
Advanced digital imaging such as ultrasound, MRI
and CT Scans, are readily available. When specialists
are needed, Plantation General Hospital coordinates
with physicians in every field of medicine. Our compact
facility provides easy access to the vast resources
of the HCA Hospital Network, which includes
surgeons who excel in minimally invasive surgery.
Maternity Services
Plantation General Hospital is dedicated to providing
the most caring and comfortable childbirth experience
with anesthesia available 24/7. Our maternity and
high-risk maternity areas have a homelike ambiance
with beautiful décor. The private Labor-Delivery-
Recovery (LDR) rooms offer comfort and luxury,
along with the latest medical technology and a highly
skilled medical team. In keeping with our philosophy
of family-centered maternity care, mothers remain
with their healthy babies throughout their entire
hospital stay. We provide lactation services to aide
mothers with the breast-feeding experience.
